Meet Ahamefula “Albert” Nwachukwu
Founder of EcoShine Detailing
From the basketball courts of Nigeria to the vibrant streets of Sudbury, my journey has been anything but conventional.
Growing up in Nigeria, basketball was more than a sport—it was a discipline that shaped my mindset, work ethic, and sense of teamwork. As a competitive athlete, I learned early on the value of resilience, focus, and pushing beyond limits. Today, those same principles fuel everything I do—in life, in leadership, and in business.
In 2014, I took a leap of faith and moved to Canada to pursue higher education and broader opportunities. I earned a degree in Communications from Laurentian University and went on to build a career in social services, developing client-centered programs and supporting vulnerable populations. While that work was meaningful, I carried a dream of creating something of my own—something rooted in excellence, sustainability, and community.
That dream led to the birth of EcoShine Detailing.
What began as a small mobile operation offering eco-friendly vehicle detailing has grown into one of Sudbury’s trusted names for high-quality automotive care. From interior and exterior detailing to pet hair removal, odor elimination, and steam-based engine cleaning, EcoShine delivers results that speak for themselves—without wasting water or compromising the environment.
Outside of the business, I stay active with kickboxing—a sport that sharpens my discipline, focus, and drive to constantly improve. Whether I’m training, detailing a vehicle, or mentoring a team member, I approach each task with precision, energy, and a commitment to excellence.
